The primary focus is to sell protein, antibody and peptide arrays and related products developed by the company.
Develop new sales business for new and existing customers.
Lead business development discussions, with customer/prospects' R&D, technology/innovation, marketing groups or procurement as needed, to establish projects/opportunities, in conjunctions with the account teams where they exist.
Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the protein array market and the competitive environment to facilitate business development efforts. Proactively provide market and competitive intelligence to appropriate internal teams.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with multiple internal and external customers.
Achieve year over year annual sales growth and gross margin targets.
Basic Qualifications:
MSc in biology, biochemistry or related fields.
Candidate must be able to work independently and on team projects, and must be flexible in a fast-paced work environment.
Knowledgeable in protein array or proteomics.
Understanding of protein array market dynamics and requirements.
Effective at time management, organizing, planning, and prioritizing work.
Excellent technical, writing and verbal communications skills.
Analytical thinker with good interpersonal skills.
Able to work with colleagues across a variety of disciplines.
