Protein Phosphorylation Profile Analysis

The most studied post-translational modification is protein phosphorylation, because it is essential for the function of a large number of proteins. These functions are essential for cell processes from signal transduction, cell differentiation and development to cell cycle control and metabolism. The main role of phosphorylation is to act as a switch for protein activity or cellular pathways in an acute and reversible manner. Abnormal phosphorylation events are associated with many disease states. In the fields of cell biology and medicine, it is difficult to understand how signal networks integrate and relay signals. An important step in analyzing the signal network is to identify and characterize the wider phosphorylation sites on individual proteins and in the proteome. After careful completion, phosphorylation site analysis can provide precise information about the functional relationship between signaling proteins. When evaluating phosphorylation, the method chosen may depend on many factors, including the specific questions to be asked and the availability of specialized equipment or reagents. Determining the phosphorylation of multiple kinases in a single sample can be time-consuming, and may require specialized equipment. Performing multiple immunoprecipitations and western blots requires time, effort, and reagents. Using antibody microarrays to detect multiple phosphorylation in a single sample can be cost-effective and can also save time and samples.

Service Process

The phosphorylated protein microarray service is based on a series of phosphorylated antibody microarray detection services. We provide a wide range of phosphorylated antibody arrays for protein phosphorylation analysis. The antibodies on our phosphorylation array are site-specific and phosphorylated protein-specific, allowing researchers to study the phosphorylation of tyrosine, serine, and threonine at specific sites. In particular, the antibodies on the antibody array are covalently immobilized on a high-quality glass surface coated with a proprietary coating to ensure high binding efficiency and specificity. Each array contains well-characterized antibodies, positive control, and negative control. In order to maximize data reliability, each antibody has more than 2 repeats. Phosphoric acid arrays adopt a membrane-based sandwich immunoassay method. The detection process uses duplicate capture antibodies on the membrane to incubate with the specific target protein present in the sample. The phosphorylation of the captured protein is detected with a biotinylated phosphate-specific detection antibody, and then a chemiluminescence detection reagent is used for visualization. Finally, the generated signals are collected for data analysis. All testing experiments will be completed by our well-trained scientists.
