Monoclonal Screening and Isolation

Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are highly specific biomolecules with great scientific and practical significance. Compared with polyclonal antibodies from immune serum, they are homogeneous and monospecific because they are produced by hybridoma cells that represent a single cell clone. The production of monoclonal antibodies is a multi-stage, time-consuming and expensive process. In the past, monoclonal screening and isolation were mostly time-consuming. The growing demand for these molecules has created room for research focused on improving hybridoma technology. Reducing costs, manpower and time is an important goal of these technological improvements.

Service Process

We provide monoclonal antibody screening microarray services based on peptide microarray and cell array technology. In order to achieve high-throughput single cell separation and analysis, a microarray-based screening method was developed. The protocol is based on a microarray executed on a standard slide format. We can accept antibodies derived from phage display technology or hybridoma cells derived from mice. For samples derived from antibodies screened by phage display technology, our services include single-cell dispersion microarray design, microarray manufacturing, microarray-based FISH detection, data harvesting and analysis. Customers can also submit screenings for hybridoma cells derived from mice. We provide detection methods based on microwell microarrays. The service process includes single cell dispersion (analysis of cell products based on single cells), microarray hybridization (use of fluorescently labeled antigens for detection), data harvesting and analysis.
